Fees: Charter schools are ‘‘public’’ schools requiring NO tuition or unusual fees. As part of your investigation into our school we ask that you do the following:
• Spend 45 minutes observing in the classroom at the grade level being considered.
• Spend 45 minutes observing in another grade level (or in a second grade level being considered).
• View and return the school's DVD
• Review our charter
If special needs student, schedule an appointment and/or meet with principal.
It is the policy of Thomas Edison Charter Schools to abide by federal and state guidelines concerning student registration.
Please fill out and return the application form. Upon acceptance, other documents will be needed, including:
Birth Certificate
Record of Immunizations (from doctor or clinic)
Proof or Pre-Kindergarten Vision Screening (for kindergartners)
Emergency Medical Card
Admissions Acceptance Form
Registration Form
Other paperwork may need to be completed, please check with the secretary or call the school.

Lottery Selection Process
If a grade level exceeds capacity, new students will be selected by a random drawing called a lottery. Grade levels that do not reach capacity before open enrollment continue to enroll students until capacity is reached. Those that are placed on waiting lists will be notified when openings occur. back to top
Forms
Thomas Edison Charter Schools are now taking applications for the 2008-2009 school year. Enrollment forms must be completed for inclusion in the lottery.
